Cory McCaig

Cory grew up in the Warren County area just north of Bowling Green, KY. Jesus Christ became his Lord and Savior in March of 1988. He met Lachelle Goodman while attending Warren East High School and they later married on June 15, 2002. They both attended Central Baptist College, in Conway, AR, where Cory graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministries and Lachelle graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Christian Counseling. Cory received in 2007, a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from the BMA Theological Seminary in Jacksonville, TX. The Lord blessed Cory and Lachelle on December 27, 2008 with the birth of their daughter, Ginilyn Faith. They were blessed a second time on November 2, 2011 with the birth of their first son, William Caleb.  They were blessed a third time on February 14, 2014 with the birth of their second son, Noah Brooks. Cory has served as Scottsville Road Baptist Church’s Pastor since November 2007.

Besides having a blast being a pastor, Cory is a moderate hunter and fisherman.  He also loves sports and is a pretty loyal St. Louis Cardinals and Arkansas Razorbacks fan.  However, hunting and sports are not the dominance of his life, what’s most important to him is his Lord and his family.

Wow I read your blogs and they were wonderful!
I’m also interested in the group you have called over 55 and alive.
    Could I find more info?
    Thank you

Stacy, thank you for your interest. Unfortunately our 55 and Alive ministry disbanded. Thank you for bringing it to my attention that it needed to be fixed on our website.

  2. Cory,

I am seeking reviews for One of the Few: A Marine Fighter Pilot’s Reconnaissance of the Christian Worldview. It’s about a struggle with doubt during a search for truth and a reasonable defense of the Christian faith.

The book has endorsements from John Njoroge of RZIM, Frank Turek of CrossExamined.org, Michael Licona, and Melissa Cain Travis of HBU, Steven Garofalo of Reason For Truth, and LtCol (ret.) Karl Johnson of the C.S. Lewis Institute.

Please let me know if you would be interested in receiving a copy and providing a review on Life Between Sundays and Amazon. I can provide the ebook in Kindle, ePub, and PDF, and Audible audiobook format, and softcovers on a limited basis.

(I can provide you a free promotional code for Audible!)

    Publish Date: November 2015
    Publisher: Boone Shepherd
    Genre: Christian non-fiction
    Page count: 318
Accolades: #1 Bestseller on Amazon, 2016 Next Generation Indie Book Awards Finalist

I look forward to hearing back from you!

      Hello Jason,

I would be happy to do a review for One of the Few. Preferably because my reading load is a little on the heavy side right now l would like to have an Audible audio copy to review. Thank you for contacting me.
